Opening Session with a Portuguese Film

The opening session of the PLAY festival celebrates Portuguese cinema with a film whose development was a unique experience for children. Developed during the two-month stay in the Auchuar community, This first-person documentary discusses the connection of those children with nature as well as the relationship with new technologies – “a very recent phenomenon in the community” Isolated in the Amazon rainforest lives a community of children in deep intimacy with the nature around them. Between the waters of the Pastaza River and the tops of the trees, these children live their daily lives almost autonomously and with a strong sense of collaboration.
