First Encounter about children’s film
The 1st Meeting on Children’s Cinema in Portugal took place on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2023 at Cinema São Jorge in Lisbon. An international event aimed at the film industry, journalists, institutions, academics and researchers, professionals and educational agents linked to the children’s sector.
Organized into six round tables, issues such as the formation of new audiences, the distribution, production and exhibition of children’s cinema will be focused, as well as the relevance of this emerging industry. The aim is to create a space for reflection and sharing between national and international professional agents.
