Film Ideas Contest
In developing its programme for children’s and young people’s film in the last nine editions of PLAY Festival, Tecla PLAY has noted that the portion of Portuguese films directed at the 1-11 year-old public is minimal.
As such, we aim to invert this paradigm by sensitising creators to the importance of forming audiences, as well as to the strong international circuit that is often unknown.
Investing, therefore, in the creation of a space for research and information, a sharing and training programme to promote the production of Children’s Film in Portugal as well as its international distribution.
The competition will pre-select 10 ideas that will be presented in a pitching session to a Jury composed of five independent figures representing different areas of the national film industry.
The winning idea receives a prize of €2500.
