O Play convidou a realizadora Lucie Sunková a estar presente nesta 11ª edição.
Realizadora, animadora, artista gráfica e escritora, Lucie Sunková formou-se na Escola Superior de Belas Artes Václav Hollar e no Departamento de Cinema de Animação da Escola de Cinema e TV da Academia de Artes Performativas de Praga. Desde que terminou os seus estudos, tem-se concentrado sobretudo na exigente técnica de animação, que utiliza nas suas curtas-metragens. Os seus filmes “O Retrato”, “Gerânio”, “A Árvore” e “Suzie no Jardim” foram exibidos em muitos festivais internacionais e ganharam muitos prémios. Lucie Sunková também escreve e ilustra livros para crianças. No ano passado, terminou a série televisiva “Vicky, a coruja dorminhoca”

Director, animator, graphic artist and writer Lucie Sunková graduated from the Václav Hollar College of Fine Arts and the Department of Animated Film of the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Since her studies, she has been focusing predominantly on the demanding animation technique, which she used in her short films. Her films “The Portrait”, “Geranium”, “The Tree”, “Suzie in the Garden” were screened at many international festivals and won many awards.The Tree (a Czech-French co-production) has also inspired a book and a travelling exhibition introducing the film´s unusual animation technique. Lucie Sunková also writes and illustrates books for children. Last year she finished TV series Vicky, the Sleepy-Bye Owl.

Uma história metafórica sobre as semelhanças entre a vida das pessoas e das árvores, um poema lírico sobre o nascimento e a morte, sobre o movimento do nosso tempo e da natureza que nos rodeia. É uma história sobre relações e uma promessa feliz.
A metaphorical story about the parallels in lives of people and trees, a lyrical poem about birth and death, about the flow of our time and the nature surrounding us. It is a story about relations and a happy promise.
Suzie no Jardim | Suzie In The Garden

Certo dia Suzie conhece um cão preto e descobre um jardim misterioso. Quem é que lá vive? A Suzie tem um pouco de medo.
One day Suzie meets a black dog and discovers a mysterious garden. Who lives there? Suzie is a little scared.
